With its expansive flight envelope that supports stable, slow flight characteristics that favors pilots newer to the hobby thanks to the revolutionary stabilization technology AS3X® and SAFE® Select Flight Mode, the Commander mPd also displays great aerobatic capability for those with more stick time under their belts.The Commander will reach speeds in excess of 70 mph due to the larger 15 size motor and prop combination.
The profile is a unique blend of classic and contemporary lines. The wing does away with pesky servo leads so plugging in or removing the wings couldn't be easier for transport. Takeoffs and landings are easy affairs with the included flaps.
With a light wing load and powerful 15-sized brushless motor and 45 amp ESC, the sky's the limit with potential. The Commander mPd features nice scale appeal including ribbing on the wings and elevator, fuel caps, panel lines and a pilot (hey somebody has to fly the plane!).
The Commander mPd has the ability to take a wide range of 3 Cell LiPo batteries. From 2200 mAh all the way up to 3200 mAh. The entire assembly is possible with just 12 screws. 8 screws for the assembly and 4 screws to plug in or remove the wings.
